In Spirit of the Smokies, I once again take time to explore America’s Wildlands and pay homage to this nation’s majestic parks. It is my second effort in this series. Situated along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains serve as the backdrop to my selected mountain scene. As Abrams Falls splashes behind, a mother black bear and her three cubs forage the flowing stream for food and fun. A mountain raccoon takes a moment to watch the furry family while it holds on to its dinner in the form of a brook trout. Standing above it all, a North American elk looks down on its fellow woodland denizens as it is silhouetted against the shifting mists and striking foliage of this ancient forest habitat. I have visited the Smoky Mountains on many occasions and I am always struck in wonder at the beauty of the area. As you hike these hills, you will see subtleties of light and color that can truly inspire artistic vision. It is also a place rich in a unique culture and an unabashed appreciation of the simple life so far removed from the chaos of the city. I hope you all can find some time to join me as I take my own moment to reflect and re-center myself in the Smokies and this sun-drenched hallow. And, as always, I want to thank you all for sharing my adventure in art.

STANDARD NUMBERED (S/N) The Standard Numbered Canvas is individually hand-highlighted and numbered. Each canvas is hand-signed on the front by Zac and is available through Art Brand Studios and Authorized Galleries. Standard Numbered are designated with letters S/N during the numbering process.
GALLERY PROOF (G/P) The Gallery Proof Canvas is available in small edition size and is individually hand-highlighted and can be distinguished by the unique gold foil Remarque stamped onto the image. Each canvas is hand-signed on the front by Zac and is available through Art Brand Studios and Signature Galleries only. Gallery Proofs are designated with letters G/P during the numbering process.
HERITAGE EDITION (H/E) The Heritage Edition Canvas is available in very small edition size and created with a textured process that recreates the artist’s actual brush work. It is then finished by a Master Highlighter with additional highlighting. A special Zac Kinkade hand sketched Remarque is applied on the verso side of the canvas by a Master Highlighter. Each canvas is hand-signed on the front by Zac and is available through Art Brand Studios and Signature Galleries only. Heritage Editions are designated with letters H/E during the numbering process.
STUDIO EDITION (S/E) The Studio Edition Canvases are the most rare and are extremely low in edition size. They are created with a textured process and additional highlighting that recreates the artist’s actual brush work. Upon satisfactory completion, Zac will apply final highlights himself and hand sketch a detailed sketch and signature on the back of the canvas.
