I was raised on a farm in southern Iowa where I doodled whenever I wasn't spading thistles or feeding pigs. Everyone knew by my crooked hay rows that I would choose art over farming. I earned my BA in Art and Education from Dordt College, and my MA from the University of Nebraska. I am the illustrator for The Good News for Little Hearts Series. Today I live with his wife and four children in Pella, Iowa, where I illustrate and teach art. -Joe Hox |
